An Update And A Thank You To My Readers

Image

During the past few hours, it occurred to me that I needed to come here and write a post before too much time went by. It’s not that I’ve fallen off of any wagon, or anything. I’m completely on track, and I’m feeling pretty good! The issue is that every other month I have to work on a BIG project, and as the due date approaches, it really eats up a lot of my time. So far this week, I’ve been completely devoted to it, and I’m happy to say that I believe it’s about done. Ah…the life of a writer! I do love it.

As I thought about what to write, I checked the stats for this blog and I was blown away. Even when I’m not writing for a few days, I still get some visits every day. For that, I want to say THANK YOU!

The fact that you’re reading this blog (if you’re a regular visitor) means that you’re curious about what you can do differently to help yourself lose weight. If this is your first visit to my blog, welcome! If you read on, you’ll find lots of great information here. By reading my posts, you’ll learn that I’m a real person with a lot of weight to lose. I have a little more than 90 pounds left to go, but I’m OK with that. It’s less than the 123 pounds I had to lose a few months ago. You’ll learn something else too.

I’m a Skinny Fiber consultant, but no one has “programmed” anything into me. Every couple of days I think that I should probably start doing some training so that I’m able to lead those who decide they want to do what I’m doing and help others lose weight. However, the truth is that I’m busy. I haven’t had time to do any training yet. That might be my downfall. However, I’m not doing this to get rich. It would be great if I did, but honestly, I’m more interested in helping other people with the pain they feel from being overweight. There’s physical pain and emotional pain associated with knowing you weigh more than “they” say you should. I’ve seen others say things about Skinny Fiber on their blogs or other websites, and you won’t hear any of that from me. You’ll hear the truth. I’ll talk about my struggles and my triumphs. I’m a real human being, a mother of three, the wife of a truck driver, and a professional writer who works for herself. I speak the truth in this blog, and you’re invited to join me in my journey – you may even want to embark on one of your own.

So…for an update. I just finished my “monthly visitor” and I’ve been a little bit frustrated over the past few days because I put on a few pounds. I know that it’s just water weight. It happens to me every month, and I just up my water intake for a few days, and it comes right back off. Today I burned a lot of calories. I was up early this morning (wow…that’s a LONG story), and I was able to start my workout (and finish!) before 8 am. This afternoon I was able to go to my Aqua Zumba class (I had to miss it last week). So, that’s a total of 90 minutes of exercise today.

I’m beat!

As this big project of mine winds down, and I start to get back into my regular groove with work, I’ll be writing more again. If you’re a regular, thanks for sticking with me. If you’re new to this blog, hang on for the ride! I’ve still got a lot of weight to lose, and I’m not giving up until it’s GONE.

Healing PCOS With Skinny Fiber

Image

For any men reading this blog post, I’m going to talk about women’s issues again. So, if you’re squeamish, but you still want to know about how Skinny Fiber can help you, you might want to skip this post and check out this blog post, written specifically for guys

I wanted to write a quick post today and share how my weight loss journey is going, and how the issues I deal with regarding PCOS are going. You’ll notice that I avoid saying, “MY PCOS” because I don’t want to own it. While I’ve been diagnosed with it, I believe in healing, and I believe that Skinny Fiber is a tool that God is using to heal my body of PCOS.

Today is day 5 of my cycle. While I kind of look forward to my period each month because it means that I’m becoming more regular, I also don’t look forward to it because it’s been lasting such a long time. In April, it was 11 days long. In May, it was 10 days long. In June, it was 7 days long. This month, it’s looking like it’s going to be 5 days long! I’m so excited! Not only is it shorter this month, but it’s also much lighter; more like a normal period. There have been times, over the past few months, that the bleeding has been so heavy, by the end of the day I was completely exhausted. I have told my nurse practitioner about it, and all she said was that it wasn’t anything to really be concerned about.

Heavy bleeding and periods that are infrequent, but that last a really long time are classic signs of PCOS. I’ve been a pretty good example of what PCOS looks like. The heavy bleeding is seen more in women who are obese. Skinny Fiber has helped me lose almost 30 pounds, and while I can’t be sure that the bleeding is lighter because I’ve lost weight or if Skinny Fiber is helping to correct the problem, it really doesn’t matter. If it wasn’t for Skinny Fiber, I wouldn’t have been able to do so well with the weight loss, and I wouldn’t be experiencing some relief from these horrible PCOS symptoms.

I read many blogs written by women who are suffering because of their PCOS. These posts are painful to read, because I know how they feel. I struggled for a long time with infertility, and I cried myself to sleep many nights because I wanted to be pregnant so bad. Even though periods are (really) a pain in the butt, even when they’re normal, having a regular period helps you feel better overall.

If you’re reading this, and you’re struggling, take it from someone who knows. Skinny Fiber can help correct those things in your body that are off. PCOS can make it nearly impossible to lose weight on your own, and if you do lose weight, it often comes right back on again. Skinny Fiber changes that. Within the first month, you’ll find that you’ve lost weight and you’re well on your way to a healing journey of your own.

I would love to talk to you about your symptoms and how Skinny Fiber can help you. Right now, a month’s supply is only $60, plus shipping and handling. If you don’t get the results you want after the first month, you’ll get your money back. No questions asked. Are you ready to make a change? Contact me today!

Setting My Body Right With Skinny Fiber

I was excited when I weighed myself this morning. I have lost a grand total of 28.9 pounds! There are some that would say I should just call it 29, or even 30. However, I’ve been brutally honest about my weight loss, and I’m not about to stop now.

This has been a great journey, so far. There are so many things that are getting set right in my body, and it all started when I began taking Skinny Fiber in March. I’m continually losing the weight I want to lose. I know I have a long way to go, but I know I’ll get there, one pound at a time.

My menstrual cycle has become regulated. Since April, I’ve had a period every month. It hasn’t always been the same number of days apart, but before then, I hadn’t had a period since January. This month it came just when the app on my phone said it should come. I think that might be helping me feel better too.

Making healthy food choices is getting to be much easier. This past weekend, I did really well with my eating, and I didn’t gain any weight when the weekend was over! I call that success. I’m hoping that I hit 30 pounds lost before the weekend gets here. That would be amazing!

Skinny Fiber: Enjoying The Journey

Image

It’s been quite a journey so far. This afternoon I’ve been thinking a lot about how far I’ve come, and how far I still have yet to go. It’s been easier than I ever thought it would be, and now that I’ve lost 26 pounds, I’m looking back and reflecting quite a bit on where I started.

When I began taking Skinny Fiber, I was 253 pounds. At my heaviest non-pregnancy weight, I was 259. I’m not sure when I lost those six pounds, but they probably came off really slowly once I started eating a little bit better during the day.

In January, I decided I was going to work on losing some weight (like half of the rest of the country), and I started on a weight loss regimen that I quit after only three days. There were too many temptations out there, and I gave in to all of them. I started trying to go the weight loss surgery route until it became obvious that I wasn’t going to be able to afford it. Needless to say, that was the end of that part of my journey.

In March, I decided that it was now or never. I had heard about Skinny Fiber, and I had seen pictures of people who had success with it. I decided to give it a try, and see if it would work for me.

I haven’t looked back.

26 pounds is quite an accomplishment for someone who had trouble sticking to a weight loss plan that would allow her to lose two pounds in a week’s time. I’m feeling so much better than I ever have before, and each day I see that scale going down more and more. It’s a great feeling to know that there WILL come a day when I will look at myself in the mirror and see a person who is the weight she should be. It will be nice to go to the doctor and not immediately begin having a conversation about my weight. I’m so tired of having those conversations.

My weight loss isn’t happening overnight because Skinny Fiber is not a supplement that just melts the fat off of your body. It takes a lot of hard work and it takes discipline. However, Skinny Fiber has given me the boost I need to be successful, and that’s all I really needed…a big BOOST!

If you’d like to know more about Skinny Fiber, I’d love the chance to talk to you. This blog is full of great information, like how much water you should drink in a day, and how important it is to get enough exercise. Follow my journey, and create one of your own in the process. Skinny Fiber: Does It Work For Guys?

Image

I’ve spent a lot of time thus far on this blog talking about how much Skinny Fiber has worked for me. I’m now down 26 pounds, and I’m thrilled with those results. However, today I wanted to talk about how great Skinny Fiber is for men too.

Skinny Fiber isn’t a woman’s supplement. Yes, it helps with PCOS, and it seems to be helping me have healthier hair and nails. However, it also helps with blood pressure. Above all, it suppresses the appetite and helps you make healthier food choices. That makes it perfect for men.

I know one of the things my husband complains about all the time is the fact that he’s “always hungry”. He works a very active job, and he’s constantly working out. He’s a delivery driver (four days a week), and each day he lifts thousands of pounds. As a result, he needs to eat a high number of calories. I think this complaint is probably a pretty normal one for men.

Skinny Fiber can give you that full feeling you’ve been missing. It can also help you make wiser food choices by reducing your cravings for salty foods or sweet foods. You’ll want to make better food choices, and no matter how active your job is, you’ll be motivated to exercise above and beyond that.

Skinny Fiber can work for you (men) just like it’s working for me. I’m still on my journey, and I have a long way to go. However, I will get there! Will you come along with me?

Why Become A Skinny Fiber Consultant?

When I first ordered my Skinny Fiber, I had no idea that I would one day become a consultant. I had seen people posting pictures about the incredible amount of weight they had lost, and I thought it sounded like something I should try. Perhaps I could have similar results.

So, I placed my order, and I waited patiently until my Skinny Fiber came in the mail. I was really excited to try it! When it came, I took my first dose, and about 20 minutes later, I just felt like I needed to get out and exercise. I didn’t feel jittery, I just felt energized. That night, I HAD to go for a walk. I just had to be active, and at that time, walking was the only thing I could do that I thought might not kill me. I could only walk for about 15-20 minutes, but it was enough to get the ball rolling. A week later, I was pulling 30 minutes at a time on my Gazelle.

About a week into it, I realized that I no longer had a craving for sweets. Before Skinny Fiber, I always wanted something sweet. If a day went by and I didn’t eat chocolate, something was wrong. Suddenly, I was turning down desserts because they just didn’t sound appetizing.

After I had taken Skinny Fiber for about three weeks, I decided that I wanted to share it with others. I wanted people to know about this amazing supplement. No one had to sell me on it. I sold myself on it. I signed up to be a consultant because it seemed like the right thing to do. It didn’t have anything to do with wanting to make money off of a product, or anything like that.

I know the pain I’ve dealt with (both physically and emotionally) for most of my life because I’ve been overweight. I know how hard it has been for me to just get a few pounds off here and there. I know how I’ve struggled, and even sought out weight loss surgery because I didn’t see any other way. I lived through being insulted when I was a college student, walking through the streets of Boston when I was 18 years old. Two guys were passing me while I was eating ice cream, and one of them said to me, “You don’t need that.” I was so upset, I threw it in the garbage and sat down and cried.

I was tired of going to amusement parks and being picky about which ride I rode because I wasn’t able to fit in the seats.

I was tired of not being able to walk long distances because my feet hurt, or my back hurt, or I was out of breath. I was even considering purchasing one of those chairs that folds up and fits in your pocket, so you can take it out and sit down when you have to wait in long lines.

And I couldn’t help but think that maybe other people had experienced the same type of thing. If there’s a chance that I could help any of them, I wanted to do it. That’s why I became a Skinny Fiber consultant.

I wouldn’t be surprised if you do too, after you see how great it works for you.

If you’d like more information on becoming a Skinny Fiber consultant, or, if you’d just like to give Skinny Fiber a try, please contact me today! This supplement will change your life, just like it changed mine.

How Long Until You Begin To Lose Weight On Skinny Fiber?

Image

If you’ve started taking Skinny Fiber, you might be a bit frustrated in the beginning. I know I was frustrated at first. It took me a long time (or so it seemed) to figure out the way I should go about losing weight. I knew the basics. I knew I had to exercise, and start eating better. Those were no-brainers. What threw me, however, was the fact that Skinny Fiber was supposed to be helping me, and it didn’t seem like I was losing weight all that quickly.

Perhaps you’ve had a similar experience.

I want to assure you, however, the weight WILL come off. Maybe, like me, you were diagnosed with PCOS. This has been a struggle for me, and quite honestly, I haven’t thought too much about PCOS until recently, when weight loss began to be a real goal for me. I knew that it could cause problems for people who wanted to lose weight. Actually, it can make it pretty darn near impossible.

Anyhow, here is what I found as I neared the end of my first month with Skinny Fiber. I had my doubts about whether or not it was working, until I woke up one morning and saw that my scale had dropped 4 pounds from the day before. I was blown away! Then, I realized that I had upped my water intake the day before. It makes a difference. You have to drink enough water. How much? Half of your body weight in ounces, is what the experts suggest.

I also realized that it wasn’t doing me any good to eat back my exercise calories. Lose It might tell me that I have 500 calories left to go at the end of the day. I don’t. I need that deficit if I’m going to see a loss.

Finally, it takes time. Skinny Fiber is not a magic pill. It’s not going to begin working immediately, cutting the weight off your body like a knife. What it WILL do, is begin working slowly, restoring the systems in your body that are out of whack and that are keeping you from losing weight. That’s what I found.

By the end of the first month, I started losing at least 2 pounds a week. However, those weeks were on the low end. Most weeks, as long as I listened to my body’s cues and what it needed, I was able to lose more.

Tonight’s Dinner

Earlier, in today’s blog post, I talked about the dinner I had planned tonight. I thought I’d share with you how it turned out. It was absolutely delicious! I took the liberty of taking a picture of my plate before I started to dig in, just so I could share it here.

Image

I’ve gotten into the habit of having salad with any meat that we have for dinner. I don’t skimp on the meat, because I know I really need the protein. However, in this case, I decided to combine the two for a really tasty salad.

Chicken seems to be something that I’m really good at, and I’ve gotten over my irrational “fear” of working with raw chicken meat, which I’m sure my husband appreciates. I probably should name my chicken dishes, however, I thought I would include my chicken recipe here, in case anyone wants to give it a try.

Four boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in half

Put in one bowl, 1 cup of bread crumbs, 1/2 a cup of Parmesan cheese, add (to taste) salt, seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning. Mix well.

In another bowl, put one cup of mayo. I used the light variety, which only has 35 calories per serving.

Line two baking dishes with foil, preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Take each chicken breast half and dip it in the mayo, then roll in bread crumb mixture. Place in baking pan, repeat with all of the chicken. Bake in oven for 30 minutes.

I’ve done other versions of this. Instead of the bread crumbs, you can use Ritz crackers, which makes for a really moist chicken. Instead of the mayo, you can use eggs (scrambled) or melted butter. If I didn’t have kids, I would probably throw in some red pepper too, just to give it a little bit of a kick.

For my salad, I made it really simple. Romaine hearts with cucumbers and roasted red pepper Italian dressing (35 calories per serving). This was a refreshing end-of-the-week meal that was very satisfying. Honestly, there was enough flavor in the chicken, I probably could have skipped the dressing altogether, but a few splashes of it made it really good.

Of course, half an hour before I had dinner, I took my Skinny Fiber. I was really hungry today for some reason! But because I took Skinny Fiber, I didn’t overeat, and I didn’t feel tempted to eat any of the pasta salad that the rest of my family enjoyed with their dinner. Skinny Fiber makes it easy to stick to my diet plan.

If you’d like to try Skinny Fiber, you can do so with nothing to lose. The company offers a 30-Day Empty Bottle Guarantee. So, what do you have to lose, except a few pounds? For more information about Skinny Fiber, contact me today!

Fighting Through The Pain With Skinny Fiber

Image

This morning was difficult.

I’m not sure if it was the few minutes of frisbee I played at our family picnic yesterday, if it was from sitting in non-supporting seating for most of the day, or if it was just because I slept wrong, but when I woke up this morning, I HURT. I was in so much pain! My hips were killing me, and I thought, “What is my body trying to tell me? Am I really not going to be able to exercise today?” I was pretty upset. I was so careful to put on sunscreen, knowing that I’d be in the sun for most of the day. I wasn’t expecting to wake up and be so sore.

I had my breakfast, and then I decided to go and take a walk. I didn’t think I’d be able to go very far, but I was determined to try and work the kinks out of my hips and my back. Surely, with a little bit of movement, I’d be able to overcome, right?

When I got back home, I had to take my son to his summer program. By the time I got back, again, I decided to give the old Gazelle a try. I cued up some praise and worship music on my phone (which also functions as my MP3 player) and threw in some “Footloose” for good measure.

Guess what? It worked! I did 30 minutes on my Gazelle, and by the time I was finished, I wasn’t in pain anymore. Whew!

That experience this morning reminds me of how important this journey is. My weight is what caused my pain in the first place. It’s what put me in the predicament I’m in. I think there’s a difference between knowing when it really is time to slow down and let my body recover, and when I need to just treat it with a little more care so I can get my exercise in for the day. I’ve had to be really in tune with what my body is telling me it needs, and I think that’s the key.

In the past, I would have just sat on the couch and though, “Well, I guess I’m in too much pain to work out today.” Having that thought over and over again caused me to gain a lot of weight. It’s an excuse that I’m not willing to let become a part of my life. Skinny Fiber changed all of that for me.

So, what’s the plan for today? Well, I have lots of work to do. I’m going to get it done, I’m going to drink plenty of water, and I’m going to make great food choices. I’m going to try and get another walk in too. Maybe after the hottest part of the day is over though. I’m planning on making some of my amazing chicken for dinner, which I will serve to my family with leftover macaroni salads. I’ll be cutting mine up and adding it to a delicious salad.

I’d love to talk to you about how Skinny Fiber can work for you! Contact me for more information. Also, if you’d like more information on becoming a Skinny Fiber consultant or distributor, click here

Pain…BE GONE!

Image

Today, I’d like to blog about something that has been a part of my life since I was 19 years old.

PAIN.

As I begin, I’d like to make it a point to say that I totally believe in God’s healing power. I didn’t always believe that God’s healing was for me. In fact, for most of my life I believed that God COULD heal me, but not that He always WOULD heal me. About six years ago, that changed, and I’m very thankful for the new knowledge that I have. Now, I know that it’s always God’s desire to heal us, and that if we ask and believe that He will, HE WILL.

When I was 19 years old, I was in a car accident that left me with a herniated disk in my back. It was very painful. So painful, in fact, I had to have help getting out of bed in the morning and going to the bathroom while I was in college. The pain I experienced got better for a little while, until I re-injured myself while I was playing with my kids in 2004. That injury played a major role in the weight I gained, because I was in so much pain, it was hard for me to get much exercise. I ended up going on temporary disability because I couldn’t even walk. As the weight came on, my pain got worse. Not only that, it seemed to spread.

When I began attending His Tabernacle Family Church, I learned about God’s healing power, and I learned that it was available to me. I received healing for my back pain, however, as I continued to make poor food choices and as I continued to take up residence on my couch instead of getting out and exercising, I saw that the pain would come back. Before long, I started having pain in my feet too. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in both feet, and spent many-a-time in a podiatrist’s office getting steroid injections in my feet and special inserts for my shoes. I knew that I had been healed, but I also knew that in order to see that healing fully manifest in my body, I had to stop making poor choices and begin making better ones. I wasn’t going to be blessed with complete healing until I started treating my body like a temple, which the Bible says it is.

There had to come a point when I declared that ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH. That point happened a little over three months ago. However, it wasn’t until I saw a picture of myself at my heaviest (other than when I was pregnant) that I decided things needed to change.

That was when I decided to try Skinny Fiber. I didn’t have anything to lose. I was so sore all of the time, I knew that it certainly wasn’t going to hurt me. If it didn’t help, then I would stop taking it. Because I didn’t have health insurance, getting gastric bypass was out of the question. There had to be an answer, and I was determined to find it.

Whenever anyone asks me about Skinny Fiber, I tell them that no one pitched me on how great it works. No one had to convince me of anything. I simply tried it because I saw that it worked for other people. When it started to work for me too, I knew that I had found something worth telling other people about. That’s the purpose of this blog.

Since I’ve started taking Skinny Fiber, I haven’t had to take anything for pain. No muscle relaxers, no pain medications, nothing. Do I still have pain? Of course I do. I still have a long way to go until I see that healing fully manifested in my body. However, as long as I protect my back when I exercise, I don’t have nearly as much back pain. The pain in my feet has disappeared completely. As the weight comes off, it gets better.

I’ve said many times in this blog, Skinny Fiber is not a magic pill. I don’t credit it for working any miracles in my body. I’ve put in a lot of hard work to lose the 25 pounds I’ve lost so far, and I will continue to put in more hard work. However, I do credit Skinny Fiber with keeping my cravings at bay. I do credit it for giving me that initial burst of energy I needed to get me to start exercising. I do credit it for signalling my body when it’s time to stop eating when I’m having a meal. But, I also believe that it’s a tool that’s being used by God to help bring me the complete body healing I asked Him for six years ago.

If you’d like to know more about Skinny Fiber, I’d love to talk to you. There is a wealth of information in this blog. If you’ve tried Skinny Fiber and you’d like to become a consultant or distributor, I can help you with that too. Contact me today!
