Time For New Jeans Thanks To Skinny Fiber!

It’s a chilly day here in Upstate NY. It’s surprising for August. Craig and I had our wedding around this time in August 2007, and it was really hot. We’re barely hitting 60 degrees today, so I figured it was probably time to get out my jeans.

I’ve lost a little over 35 pounds since I last had those jeans on. So, I had a feeling they were going to be a little bit big. They’re HUGE! I’m not sure how many inches I’ve lost since I stopped doing my measurements after I finished the Skinny Fiber 90 Day Challenge. But, I have tons of extra material in my thighs, and I can easily take them off without unbuttoning them.

I remember the days when I had to lie down on my bed to even get them buttoned!

This is such an amazing feeling, and I’m so excited! I have no idea what size I am right now, but I do know that these jeans are a size 24. I would guess that I’m either an 18 or a 16. I’m probably going to wait until September to buy more jeans, but I will definitely have to buy some new ones. Hopefully I can find a good deal because I’m certainly not stopping now!

I can’t remember if I mentioned this or not, but I was really excited a couple of weeks ago to find that my rings no longer looked like they were choking my fingers. I hadn’t been able to take my wedding ring off in a really long time. I think it might have three or four years since I had it off. A few weeks ago, I was sitting on the couch, and I thought that I would try and see if it would come off. It did!

These are the types of victories that you just can’t measure with a scale. Yes, when I get on my scale and see that the number has gone down, I get really happy. But if you’re like me, you have a hard time seeing weight loss when you look in the mirror regardless of what the scale is telling you. I’ve never really been able to see a difference in myself in the mirror. When my clothes are more loose, and my jeans fit better, those are the types of victories that really let me know that something I’m doing is working.

I’ve done diet and exercise in the past. I’ve never been motivated enough to stick with a program long enough to see the results. Skinny Fiber helps me with that motivation. It’s taken away my cravings for sweet foods and replaced them with cravings for fresh produce and protein. It also gives me a physical burst of energy that helps me want to work out in the mornings and sometimes in the evenings too.

Without Skinny Fiber, I’d still be weighing in at over 250 pounds. This morning, I was at 217, and I know it won’t be long before I’ll be quickly approaching my big goal of being 130. If you’re a regular reader of mine, I’d like to thank you for all of your help in keeping me on the course toward that big goal.

And, hey! If you’re a new reader, welcome to my blog! I hope you’ll check out Skinny Fiber and join me on a weight loss journey of your own!

Clothes That Fit Better: Another Perk In My Weight Loss Journey With Skinny Fiber

This morning I was thrilled when I pulled a shirt out of my closet that I hadn’t worn in a few years. To be honest, it was a little tight when I bought it, but I was determined to make it work for the outfit I needed to wear. I don’t even know what year it was, but I know it was a long time ago.

As I looked at the shirt, I realized that it kind of looked like it was a little bit bigger than it was before. It’s interesting how our perspective changes as we lose weight. I thought I would try it on and see if it fit any better now that I had lost 32 pounds.

It fits perfectly!

Being able to wear clothes that I haven’t worn in a while has been one of my favorite parts about taking Skinny Fiber. Perhaps you’re like me, and you have some of those smaller clothes in your closet. At one point, you put them in there thinking, “Someday I’ll lose weight, and I’ll be able to wear that again.” You held onto those clothes in hopes that you would be losing weight eventually. The problem is, for most of us that day never comes.

That’s where I was for a really LONG time. In fact, most of those smaller clothes I once had disappeared. There were a few items that I gave away, but some of them just up and vanished. However, I do still have a couple of things that I’ve been hoping to wear again someday.

The next goal? To look into my closet and say, “Wow! I need to go shopping so I have some clothes that aren’t too big on me!” That will be an amazing accomplishment. I’m already looking forward to the fall/winter so that I can buy myself some new jeans. I only have two pairs of jeans right now, and it’s been a few months since I’ve worn them. I’m sure they’re quite big. It will be fun shopping for new jeans!

If you’ve tried to lose weight many times in the past, and you haven’t been successful, it might be time to try something different. Losing weight is a challenge, but it’s not one that’s too difficult when you have the right tools in your hands. Skinny Fiber has helped me tremendously, and I know that it can help you too.

30 Pounds Lost On Skinny Fiber!

Image

I’ve been flirting with a 30 pound weight loss for a few days now. Last weekend was a tough one, with a few different picnics with friends and family. I always struggle with those types of gatherings because I usually don’t drink enough water, and there are always too many pasta dishes at picnics. That includes dishes that my family brings.

However, this morning when my scale said that I had lost 30 pounds, I was ecstatic!

If you follow my blog, you know that I started this leg of my weight loss journey in March. Its been four months since I began taking Skinny Fiber, and although I wish I had lost a little bit more than 30 pounds, I can’t deny that I’m proud of myself. Especially since in the past, I wasn’t able to do this well with weight loss. Even during the time I lost 50 pounds when I was younger, it took me two years to do it.

So, I’d say that 30 pounds in four months is pretty good!

I get asked all the time, “How are you doing it?” It takes a lot of dedication to make it happen. It takes hard work and it also means not depriving myself. I think one of the reasons why diets don’t work, or why they take so long to see real results is because people deprive themselves of the things they love the most. It’s difficult to hang on your motivation for a long period of time, and eventually many of us give in. I’ve been guilty of that in the past, which is why Skinny Fiber works so well for me.

Making healthy choices is much easier now that it ever was before. Chocolate was always a problem for me. I could never even walk through a grocery checkout line without picking up some kind of candy bar. Was I weak? Was I lacking in motivation and willpower? Certainly.

Chocolate isn’t a factor for me anymore. Since I started taking Skinny Fiber, it doesn’t even taste the same to me. I haven’t had a bonafide chocolate craving in four months, and on the occasions when I have had chocolate or, some type of dessert, I’m able to eat just a small portion of it and feel satisfied.

THAT is the boost I needed to lose weight and keep it off. THAT is what I was lacking when I tried to lose weight before.

Also, with a PCOS diagnosis, losing weight can be very difficult, if not impossible. When I go for my physical in September, I’ll find out if that diagnosis still stands. I’m guessing it doesn’t.

For many of us, weight loss is a struggle. It’s a constant battle that we fight every single day. Some of us lose weight only to put it right back on again, either because of poor choices, lack of willpower, or because of hormonal fluctuations. If you’re struggling, and you’re tired of it, Skinny Fiber can help.

Yes, I’ve lost 30 pounds. I’m proud, but I’m not finished! I still have 93 to go. I’ll make it there, mark my words!

Getting Rid Of Water Weight With Skinny Fiber

I always find it interesting that in order to get rid of water weight, you need to drink more water. During these hot months of summer (and it IS hot), drinking water is necessary for survival. In Upstate NY today, it was 97 degrees. That’s just crazy to me! Either way, right around the time of my period, I always put on a little bit of weight, which I know will come right back off.

I was right! When I weighed myself this morning, it had all come back off.

I love WordPress because it allows me to see what people are using to search for my site. Quite a few people have searched “What happens if I don’t lose weight on Skinny Fiber?” I wrote a blog post about that a while back, but I’d like to address it now, as long as we’re already talking about water.

If you’re not losing weight, it’s quite possible that you’re not drinking enough water. Many people don’t realize how much water they should really be drinking in a day. Unless you weigh 130 pounds, 8 – 8 oz. glasses of water is not enough. You should drink half of your body weight in water every day. Drink more if you want to.

And no, coffee doesn’t count. In fact, coffee can be quite dehydrating. I’ve cut my coffee consumption down to a travel mug of coffee most days. On weekends I might have two of those, but it’s rare for me to ever have three of them.

The first thing that Skinny Fiber does is help to detox your body to prepare it for weight loss. You’ll be amazed at how much “gunk” you have in your system. It took me a while to figure out that I needed to up my water intake, and quite honestly, I didn’t drink nearly enough for a long time. In fact, I hardly ever used to drink water unless I was really thirsty. I knew I needed to develop a habit of it, and I knew I needed a cool water bottle to help me establish that habit. I got my cool water bottle, and I downloaded an app on my phone that reminds me every so often to drink another 8 ounces of water. I need those reminders, and ever since I started using that app, it’s really helped me establish my water habit.

I’m happy to see the water weight disappear for yet, another month. I’m still working on combating the fact that I gain a little bit of water weight at all, but until I figure that out, I’ll have to keep on drinking it off again.

How Long Until You Begin To Lose Weight On Skinny Fiber?

Image

If you’ve started taking Skinny Fiber, you might be a bit frustrated in the beginning. I know I was frustrated at first. It took me a long time (or so it seemed) to figure out the way I should go about losing weight. I knew the basics. I knew I had to exercise, and start eating better. Those were no-brainers. What threw me, however, was the fact that Skinny Fiber was supposed to be helping me, and it didn’t seem like I was losing weight all that quickly.

Perhaps you’ve had a similar experience.

I want to assure you, however, the weight WILL come off. Maybe, like me, you were diagnosed with PCOS. This has been a struggle for me, and quite honestly, I haven’t thought too much about PCOS until recently, when weight loss began to be a real goal for me. I knew that it could cause problems for people who wanted to lose weight. Actually, it can make it pretty darn near impossible.

Anyhow, here is what I found as I neared the end of my first month with Skinny Fiber. I had my doubts about whether or not it was working, until I woke up one morning and saw that my scale had dropped 4 pounds from the day before. I was blown away! Then, I realized that I had upped my water intake the day before. It makes a difference. You have to drink enough water. How much? Half of your body weight in ounces, is what the experts suggest.

I also realized that it wasn’t doing me any good to eat back my exercise calories. Lose It might tell me that I have 500 calories left to go at the end of the day. I don’t. I need that deficit if I’m going to see a loss.

Finally, it takes time. Skinny Fiber is not a magic pill. It’s not going to begin working immediately, cutting the weight off your body like a knife. What it WILL do, is begin working slowly, restoring the systems in your body that are out of whack and that are keeping you from losing weight. That’s what I found.

By the end of the first month, I started losing at least 2 pounds a week. However, those weeks were on the low end. Most weeks, as long as I listened to my body’s cues and what it needed, I was able to lose more.

Eating Right On Skinny Fiber

Image

It’s important for me to emphasize that Skinny Fiber is NOT a supplement that allows you to eat whatever you want to eat. I don’t know how many calories I was eating a day before I started Skinny Fiber, but I do know that it was too many. I was gaining weight quickly. Luckily, Skinny Fiber helps me to avoid the foods that are bad for me, and I’m beginning to crave things that are fresh and good for me instead. In fact, I’m about to head out to our local farmer’s market to get some more good stuff, but I wanted to write a post before I did.

Here are some things that I’ve cut down on:

  • Potatoes
  • White Rice
  • Pasta
  • Artificial Sweeteners (eliminated)
  • Sugar
  • Coffee Creamer
  • Sweets (chocolate, candy, ice cream)
  • Milk (I get my calcium from other sources)

There are some things that I do enjoy in moderation. For instance, I will probably have a few scoops of ice cream this weekend. I have pasta maybe once or twice a month. I put sugar and creamer in my coffee every morning (although, this week I’m going to take a stab at making my own creamer), and I’ll have a serving of potatoes now and then.

You already know how I feel about bacon.

I’ve added lots of vegetables and fruits to my diet, and I’ve upped my protein consumption tremendously. A lot of these food choices are just common sense, but I really crave better foods, and I think that makes all the difference in the world.

For me, it means something that I can be offered a piece of cake for dessert and turn it down. It means something that every time I go to the store, I’m not walking out of there with AT LEAST one king-sized Resee’s Big Cups candy bar. When I bring home donuts for my kids to have with breakfast, I don’t need to eat any. I’m not tempted by them at all.

I think a lot of women (especially) struggle with the things I do, which is why I think Skinny Fiber is a great choice for a supplement. Will it make you thinner overnight? Absolutely not. I’ve had to work HARD for the past three months. But in the past, I’ve long given up by now, and gone back to my old eating habits, and my old laziness habits. Skinny Fiber is helping me to leave the sweets alone, and continue working toward my goal.

It could do the same thing for you too.

If you’re local (Elmira, Horseheads, Corning area), I still have a few bottles of Skinny Fiber left. To buy them from me is only $60. However, if you choose to visit my website and purchase them there, they cost $75, but they come with a 30 Day Empty Bottle Guarantee. Each bottle is enough for one month.
